Q: Where are you located?
A: Yarra Valley Caravan Storage is located within Yarra Valley Estate, 2164 Melba Hwy, Dixons Creek. The property is 120-acres – to gain access to the Caravan Storage area, you must stop at the office/reception area for the key.

Q: What are the office hours?
A: Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm although access is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day (with approval)

Q: What are the access hours?
A: You can have access to your vehicle at any time! There is no charge for access out of main office hours, we simply ask you to let us know and we will provide the details to you for access. No need to worry, come anytime!

Q: Have you any vacancies?
A: Absolutely! We have ample capacity with room to expand.

Q: Do you have undercover storage for Caravans or Motorhomes?
A: No, currently we don’t. However, with our affordable rates you will still be ahead even after purchasing a quality cover

Q: We’re going on holiday soon and I want to pick up my caravan. Will we be charged for the time we are away?
A: Our storage agreement options are quite flexible. The minimum charge is for one month of storage. You may choose either month to month storage or take an agreement for annual storage. The best value is for 12 months – the biggest advantage being a guaranteed site.

Q: Can I access my vehicle while it is in storage?
A: It is one of those things, you think you have grabbed everything you need until your next getaway, but you have forgotten something – not a worry at all, just come back and grab it. You have 24/7 access, weather that be for 5 minutes or 5 hours! Should you wish, you can take the time to clean it and do any maintenance while it is onsite also.

Q: What security features do you have?
A: With CCTV cameras situated along the property, we have real time & recorded viewing of all vehicles coming onsite. With the added security of the owners living onsite, they will know who is on the property at all times. During office hours, the key is provided to you personally, while outside these times, access is still available, through prior requests. High fence is padlocked, with access via a key that is provided at the office.

Q: What if I have multiple vehicles?
A: A Caravan & a Boat? Not a problem at all, we offer you a discount for your 2nd vehicle.

Q: How can I pay?
A: You will be provided an invoice for your storage term, direct transfer options are available or you can call the office and pay directly with your credit card if you prefer.

Q: Do I store my own vehicle?
A: Yes, you have complete control of your van at all times. You drive it to the storage area, reverse it in, secure it to your standards and then depart. Our onsite staff are happy to assist if help is required!

Q: Do you have Shipping Containers for hire?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t, although we can recommend a few local options to consider.

Q: Other requirements for Shipping Container storage:
A: We request that you keep the container up off the ground to allow air flow under the container. We suggest placing container on either treated pine sleepers, old car tyres or solid concrete blocks. If placed directly on the ground, the base of the container will condensate and moisture will permeate through the timber floor and will cause moisture problems within. It may also cause rust on the steel cross members under the container.

Q: What about other vehicles?
A: We are happy to store anything from a bus to a horse float! Anything you need safe, secure storage for short or long term – Yarra Valley Caravan Storage can assist.

Q: How do I get started?
A: Fill in the booking form and we can book you in your site for the storage term. We can send you the booking form or fill it out on the day you arrive. The only other component we need is a copy of your insurance paperwork, which needs to be up to date at all times of storage.
